Read description carefully
I had been shopping personalized engraved Damascus steel knives on Amazon, but wanted to get a color Amazon didn't offer, plus do business with a small company, because I'm a small business owner as well. I found Groovy Guy Gifts and they had a green knife that I thought would be perfect. I mistakenly thought the knife would be personalized/engraved on the silver portion near the blade. What a mistake! I got the knife as an engagement gift and wanted the date of engagement and initials on the knife. The knife was very long in reaching me, number one issue. So I didn't have a gift for the engagement party. I had to contact Groovy Guy Gifts to see what the hold up was. They responded and said they had thought my order had already shipped, but had no tracking info, so realized it had't. So, finally, I eventually received my order after waiting several weeks. The case of the knife came EMBOSSED with initials but nothing on the knife itself. Product looks like a $20 item but cost nearly $70. The embossed sheath is very effeminate, and I won't include it when I give the knife as a gift. I'm planning to take the knife and have it ENGRAVED on the metal. These groovy guys don't know the difference in EMBOSSING and ENGRAVING. Read carefully. My knife also has scratches and looks used. Would not recommend buying from this company. Use Amazon where you can get a refund and return product if it's not up to your satisfaction. The leather sheath embossing is ridiculous. And the product is interior.
